I found so many times this type of discussion about free and paid directories and how they are valued by the Search engines, watch this video.

I don't submit to directories anymore except yahoo after the mutt cutt updates. This video tells you what the truth about the directory submission is they are valuable or not.  Yahoo directory is paid and works but without paid directory submission also works.  You can get traffic without a Yahoo directory listing also. My point is that just do the submission on the high page rank directory.

Directory submissions are no longer considered the top of SEO. Google index directory links very rare and they are more helpful to drive traffic rather than build backlinks for your website.

Directory Submissions still has it's importance in SEO. Although it is not express as compared to other categories, but still Quality of directory sites provides good backlinks. Even 0 PR sites provide Good backlinks.

Directory Submission Now Banned by Google , Now a days Google did not consider about directories , so try some other strategies .
