hello abhirampathak3,
well domain age is not helpful in seo...
okay think, if someone have a website with very good content (about clothing products)and google reputation and after 20 years you buy this domain and change all the website content to SEO or something else, then google and another search engines will not give reputation of last 20 years and treat your website as a brand new website. so Domain age is doesn't metter.. but domain name is metter too....if it is related to your website content and keywords...
i hope you understand...
thanks,

Yes,it does really help if you are attaining to have  that higher rank and wants to show up earlier in search results.Search engines view older domains as more trustworthy, which means older domains may have a slight advantage. However, this is only true if the older domain has a good reputation.

Age does nothing for SEO unless the Domain has a steady backlinking history. Just because a domain is old does not mean you will get ranked faster or anything or that Google trust it more. Please don't fall into this trap and pay more for a old Domain unless it has some type of good steady history.

backlinking is important, but no so much
If you are looking for any dropped or domain on sale the most valuable thing is that old domain has the same REGION and THEME with yours. I regret you are watching only backlinks.

The old domain name has a slight importance - Domain age is also one of the ranking factors as it represents its trustworthiness. But make sure that that old domain name must relate to your website business or service.

If old domain name has different business and services as if you want to build new different business on the same domain - It hurts to your business. So, be sure to take some precautions while selecting the right domain name for your business.

It will best - If you select an appropriate new domain name.

Yes, domain age helps, higher the age of your domain, better result you would expect.

But there are many factors in deciding ranking of a keyword so you have to understand this thing.

Domain age is not considered in seo. The old domain doesn't help out, only when the content and domain match each other it is valuable.

Ok, try to show me at least 1 result with high-competitive keyword where new domain can be found in top

Hgpromo.org is a PR7 and is on the top for the term "Hostgator Coupon" and his Domain is only 7 Months old. Most of the Competitors have domains 2 and 3 years old.
Matt Cutts from Google has stated himself Domain age is not a very important factor at all. Watch the video on youtube.
