Lots of recent changes in GP. How has this affected you? I have had some people say traffic has slipped and others that it hasn't affected much at all. Thoughts anyone?

The impact of recent changes in general practice can vary depending on the specific context and location. It is common to hear different opinions on how these changes affect traffic, as individual circumstances and perspectives may differ. To get a better understanding, it would be helpful to gather more data and consider multiple viewpoints before drawing any conclusions.

Google places a place from where we can get the local customers. To get the Google places ranking there is a process we have to follow and need to submit our website listing according to that.
1. Add you target keywords into Title.
2. Choose appropriate category, one parent and other according to you.
3. Add you business location and mobile number.
4. Add your business Image
5. Write down your complete office address
6. Update this listing in every three months.

I agree that google is not a local place. it is international and worldwide strategies.

The only update I know about Google places is ease in submitting your listing. And, I don't think that will hurt or improve your SERP rankings in local listings.
But Yes, that will encourage more people to add their business listings.
Are there any more updates... I would love to hear?
