Hello
I got a question about Google Webmaster, I wanna verify my site to google webmaster. My website is made by WordPress and my site opens only without www . ( http://mysite.com)
And my question is that should I add my site with www? or without www??
I have asked some seo masters and they said i gotta add both and then from site sitting i should change the sitting to '' Display URLs as mysite.com ''
So what should i do?
Please help me figure this out

Your domain name does not include the "www" - that part of an address is known as the sub-domain. It points to a folder on your web site. You can have multiple sub-domains, all registered under the same domain. So you could have "www.example.com," "discuss.example.com," and "blog.example.com," all registered as "example.com."

When you see Web addresses that have no apparent sub-domain (no "www" or other prefix) it's because the "www" has been removed using a file called ".htaccess" or some other programming.

Goto
wordpress dashboard->settings->general->
wordpress adress (url)
site adress (url)
change both using full url e.g. http://www.mydomain.com

Now your website will accessible in both ways with www or without

You have to fix first canonical issue, then redirect it to www by 301.

Hello,

Previously my website is developed with www.example.com...Later on it again redeveloped as without www that means example.com

This results canonicalization issue and redundant issue in Analytics.Since I have uploaded .htaccess file in the server but of no use.After this I have noticed my site is being hаcked frequently after uploading .htaccess file.Is it because of uploading htaccess file.

Please suggest me what all I need to do to rectify the things and to resolve canonical issue and ip canonicalization.Please suggest me it would be great help.
