 is it possible to bring a new website in first page of SERP within 1 month? can anyone give me answer for this. This was the interview question asked to me. I said it will take atleast 6 months but they said it is possible to bring a website in first page of SERP within 1 month.

In PPC there is no any doubt to get result in one months, but I think you are talking about SEO, In SEO we give time mostly for six months but this is possible to get ranking in one month also if your website is cover relevant information and you do proper meta tagging on your website. There is no any condition from Google Side for new or old site. Google not giving  preference old site than new site, only giving preference which is more informative sites.

I have heard of some webmasters managing to have their websites on front page of Google within a few weeks, but their niches were very light and not competitive at all. In such cases, even a few links and new content pages would be enough to have top ranks.

In general, it takes several months before gradually the ranks begin to improve, given the fact that every day, more and more new domains enter the online markets, making SEO more difficult and challenging than the past.
