Hey guys,

Just wanted to get an idea of how many hours you guys spend on SEO on your blog or website or whatever. I usually find myself doing loads of time when I first launch a site then it slowly dies off to like 4-5 hours per month. Is that too little ? And how do you guys do your seo and how long do you spend on it ?

I spend time for seo when I start new site. It can take 10-100 hours.
And then I can fix some things during next work of the site. Also 3-5 hours per month.

SEO is an ongoing process.  Even if you're #1, you have to keep working to keep that ranking, because, somewhere, someone is trying to beat you.

For me, anytime I'm not working on a project for my clients, I'm working on my own SEO.

I agree with nicolebeckett. If you do SEO you must never stop. Otherwise you will fall quickly :(

It only really takes a couple hours a week of real work towards SEO on your site to see success.  Any levels much higher than this and you could be spamming.

Search Engine Optimization(SEO) is the process of increasing the amount of visitors to a Web site by ranking high in the search results of a search engine. Now im doing SEO to my site and it can take 8 hrs per day.
