Firstly check your website content by using any content duplicate checker tool. IF you got 10-20% duplicacy then it's ok with it. But be sure that your website content is not more than 20% duplicate. If it is then change it first, as google read it as a duplicate content and spam it.
After doing this remember when you add any blog into your site or submit any content related to your site into other submission sites then firstly check content duplicacy.
For looking any content duplicaly tool you may simply search into Google. You will see many tools here.

Google does not recommend blocking crawler access to duplicate content on your website, whether with a robots.txt file or other methods. If search engines can't crawl pages with duplicate content, they can't automatically detect that these URLs point to the same content and will therefore effectively have to treat them as separate, unique pages. A better solution is to allow search engines to crawl these URLs, but mark them as duplicates by using the rel="canonical" link element, the URL parameter handling tool, or 301 redirects.

Duplicate content exists when there is more than one version of a page indexed by the search engines. Where there are multiple versions of a page indexed, it’s difficult for search engines to decide what page to show for a relevant search query.

There are two tools you can use to find duplicate content problems for your site: Google Webmaster Tools and Screaming Frog.

1) Google Webmaster Tools

Using Google Webmaster Tools you can easily find pages with both duplicate titles and meta descriptions. You simply click on “HTML Improvements” under “Search Appearance”.

2) Screaming Frog

You can download the screaming frog web crawler and use it to crawl 500 pages for free. This application lets you do a lot of different things, including finding duplicate content problems.

Copyscape is one of the effective tool for checking your content is plagiarised or not.
