Hello fellow SEOs,

I am having a difficult time implementing structured data in a custom php website. I have read it can be implemented using JSON-LD,RDFa and Microdata. But it sounds too technical for me. Somebody help me which method i should i choose and what is the advantage of it among other methods.

Thanks

Structured data is a markup code that helps to describe the webpage content on search engine result pages, so user can get better understand what's on web pages. Search engines can understand the web page content and display the content to uses in eye-catching ways in various search results. It help to attract the users and gets more traffic to webpages and the right way to improve customers for your business.

If you want to implement the structured data, you need small coding knowledge, mainly HTML, CSS and also the server knowledge. Many SEO persons don’t have the much coding knowledge.

The most common schema terms and then using WordPress plugins, using Google’s Structured Data Markup Helper. You can use these things to implement your structured data.

write a code of the schema you want to add,
check if it's error free and paste it on the page you want to add schema on!

1.Open Google's Structured Data Markup Helper.
2.Select your data type and enter the URL.
3.Highlight page elements and assign data tags.
4.Create the HTML.
5.Add the schema markup to your page.
6.Test your markup with Google's Structured Data Testing Tool.
