Head terms and Long Tail Keyword Research: Let's go over the difference between head terms and long-tails. Head terms are keywords with general and broad meanings, while long tails are keywords with more specific and targeted meanings. Head terms have more searches than long-tail terms but generate significantly less traffic per search. The harder a keyword is to rank for, the fewer searches it receives. Long-tail keywords, on the other hand, get less searches than head terms but have higher conversion rates because they're more targeted and easier to rank for.

Keyword Research: What is Long Tail Keywords Vs. Head Terms Keywords? You may be asking yourself "How do I get the most traffic and leads from each of my online advertising efforts?" The answer to that is to use a combination of both, head terms and long tails. Both will help you get more traffic, but not at the same time. Let me explain what I mean by that. Every website needs keywords in order to rank in search engines and bring people to your site. However, usually the domain name (the amazon.com, google.com type stuff) is all you need! When it comes down to driving traffic, over 50% of the traffic will come from back links (google plus your blog posts) if they are keyword rich and the rest will come from just using your domain name itself! It's really simple! So, you can really get awesome SEO results with just using your own domain name. But because most people don't follow SEO guidelines themselves and get lost in the sea of junk written by nobody but me (lol), they often try keyword stuffing their domains with tons of keywords or buying social media shares which bring you no value whatsoever. It's a waste of money, time, and energy

It's kind of Short tail keywords vs Long tail keywords.

Long-tail keywords are easy to rank while short-tail keywords (Head keywords) take time to rank.

Head terms are commonly searched terms in your web page's topic. Long-tail keywords are search terms that consist of 3 to 8 words, for example: "Keyword research tool". The long-tailed keyword phrase "keyword research tool" usually has a much lower search volume than head terms such as "keyword research", but the search query is much more specific, which results in better-qualified visitors.

The head keyword is a general term lots of people write about. A long-tail keyword is a more specific topic or a subtopic of the head term. Usually, fewer people create content about this topic.

Head Terms Keywords Vs. Long-Tail Keywords: Every marketer, content creator and salesperson wants to know and use the best keywords for their businesses. Choosing the right keywords can definitely increase the traffic of your website and sales. The problem is: sometimes, using keywords that are too broad means you will be getting useless search results where customers will not be buying anything because they need more specific details before they make their decision.

Head terms are usually one or two words, and they are the most general keywords that you can think of. They have the highest search volume, but they also have the highest level of competition. For example, if you are selling running shoes, "shoes" would be ahead term. Long-tail keywords, on the other hand, are much more specific. They usually consist of three or more words, and they tend to have lower search volumes. However, they also have lower levels of competition. For example, "women's running shoes size 8" would be a long-tail keyword. It is generally accepted that long-tail keywords are more effective than head terms when it comes to SEO. This is because they are less competitive and therefore easier to rank for. In addition, long-tail keywords tend to be more specific, which means that they are more likely to convert into sales. Ultimately, when choosing keywords for your SEO campaign, you should focus on long-tail keywords rather than head terms. if you are looking for SEO services then I'll recommend to hire pixelette technologies which is the top SEO agency in the united kingdom.
