Let's say I want to create a website to sell cars (not the actual product) in Atlanta Georgia.  When I check the Google searches for cars in Atlanta the phrase "used cars Atlanta GA" has a high search volume.  The domain name usedcarsatlantaga.com is available so I want to make this my domain name.

First question, am I correct in thinking this domain name would help with search rankings?

Second question, let's say I want to do the same thing in another 100 cities.  I don't want to have 100 different websites but, assuming the domain strategy I mentioned above would be helpful, how could I set this up with one website and still use a different domain for every city?  Each city would have it's own page and unique listings for that city.

Any ideas?

I'm not expert in seo but from what i've read and my own experiences : to have a domain name with the exact terms of the search was very usefull. i say was because it seem that google dont trust this way so much anymore. So it could help but not like for some years ago.

After this you can choose to point your dns from each domain to another subdomain in your exemple first site buy usedcar.com and you will point the name usedcaratlantaga.com to usedcar.com/atlantaga  (if you want to just create a folder on your main domain or atlantaga.usecar.com if u prefer to create subdomain of your main site.

but i don t think the gain in seo ranking will be worth the price of 100 domain name ( i can be wrong, as i said i'm not expert)
