What is the difference between Internal links and Inbound links?

mylofu

A link which are pointing to other pages of your website i.e link created within a website are called internal links. Getting links from some other website that point to your website are called inbound links.

Well Mylofu has answered it.
When you link to other pages of your own website from the menu, header links, footer links or contextual links in your sites content those are called internal links. Like the link to your contact us page from your home page is an internal link.
When someone else links to your website as a reference those are inbound links. Like if you create a facebook page and link to your page from the about info, that is also an inbound link.
