On site optimization is very important as it helps to build website presence for your domain. It is an important task that needs to be performed before you start with off page optimization. Defining proper tags, content development, meta descriptions, sitemap generation as some of the things to consider.

On-page optimization include the tasks that are done to improve site performance, loading time, loading sitemaps etc which are very important in SEO to index the website. These are done on site like preparing html meta tags, robots.txt file etc.More than half of SEO depends upon On-page.

On-page optimization is a necessary thing for a website so as to achieve its ranking over the search engine. Not even a single website can't achieve good ranking in search engine result pages lacking it’s on page optimization. Heading tags, Meta tags, content optimization, image and ALT tags optimization, a sitemap and robots files are important aspects of on-page SEO. These are the most important factors that all need to optimize for webpage’s to achieve a better position on Search engine.

On-page optimization is very important. It is a part of user experience and in case your website does not work easily and properly, you can forget about keeping the viewers on it for a longer period of time. Sure!
For example, without optimized title tags, meta data, URLs and page copy, you are not going to be found in the search results.
And without on-page optimization and promotion of relevant content that speaks to your target audience, your web property will have a difficult time in being treated as an authority for a given topic. Without being an authority, chances are you will lack that online visibility. Without visibility you will miss out on traffic and thus page views.
