'Google AdWords Keyword Planner' is the free tool by Google where one can easily search for keywords related to the product and niche. You just need to login to this with google account and its ready for use. It is not only helpful in finding keywords but also tells about the competition (i.e. low, medium ,high) which is really advantageous.

Using long-tail keywords is more efficient.

Keyword Planner is like a workshop for building new Search Network campaigns or expanding existing ones. You can search for keyword and ad group ideas, get historical statistics, see how a list of keywords might perform and even create a new keyword list by multiplying several lists of keywords together. A free AdWords tool, Keyword Planner can also help you choose competitive bids and budgets to use with your campaigns.

Key phrase Planner is similar to a workshop for establishing new Search Network promotions or growing existing types. Searching for keyword and advertisement group ideas, obtain historical figures, observe how a listing of keywords may perform and actually produce a fresh key phrase list simply by multiplying many lists of keywords collectively. A free of charge Google adwords tool, Keyword Planner may also help you select competitive bids and budgets to use together with your campaigns.

Keyword Explorer tool from the ground up to help  streamline and improve how you discover and prioritize keywords. Keyword Explorer provides accurate monthly search volume data, an idea of how difficult it will be to rank for your keyword, estimated  click-thorugh rate, and a score representing your potential  to rank. It also suggests related keywords  for you to research. Because it cuts out a great deal of manual work and is free to try, I recommend starting  there.
Google's AdWords Keyword Planner tool is another common starting point for SEO keyword research. It not only suggests keywords and provides estimated search volume, but also predicts the cost of running paid campaigns for these terms.
