Hello friends,
I have been noticing from past on week that, when I check the keyword ranking in the evening it is different from what it is was in morning. Is anyone facing this kind of problem? I mean it shows a big variation and these keywords are never on the same positions?
(I have started monitoring these keywords on daily basis after finding them not on the same positions)
(Ranking in google.com)
Waiting for your valuable suggestion
Thanks

It's because of the rapid tweaks happen on Google. It can also refer to as "Google Dance" where you will notice some changes on keyword rankings. It's just a natural scenario that no one could stop.

You just have to deal with it by making your site more visible on Google. It is also a good measure of how strong your backlinks are. The often the changes happen to your keywords, the weaker your backlinks are. Another thing is, take a careful look on how many spots it drops when there is a tweak occurred because you can also see how weak or strong your backlinks through measuring those ranking drops.

It is not uncommon to see variations in keyword rankings throughout the day. Google's search algorithm is constantly changing, and there are many factors that can influence search rankings, such as user location, device type, browsing history, and search personalization. Additionally, search rankings can also be affected by updates or changes made to Google's algorithm.

To minimize the impact of these fluctuations, you can try tracking keyword rankings over a longer period of time instead of just comparing morning and evening results. This will give you a more comprehensive view of the overall trend for your keywords. Additionally, consider using a reliable SEO tool to track your rankings accurately and consistently.

If you are looking for more ways to mitigate the variations in keyword rankings, here are a few additional suggestions:

1. Use an average or median rank: Instead of relying on a single ranking position, calculate the average or median rank over a specific period. This can help smooth out any temporary fluctuations and give you a more reliable representation of your keyword performance.

2. Monitor trends over time: Keep track of how your keyword rankings change over weeks or months. This will help you identify any patterns or trends that may emerge. It's important to focus on long-term trends rather than the day-to-day fluctuations.

3. Consider location-specific rankings: Keyword rankings can vary based on the location of the user. Utilize tools that allow you to monitor rankings specific to your target audience's location. This will give you a more accurate understanding of how your keywords are performing for your intended audience.

4. Analyze competitors: Keep an eye on how your competitors' rankings are fluctuating as well. By analyzing their performance, you can gain insights into overall search trends and potentially adjust your strategy accordingly.

5. Focus on other metrics: While keyword rankings are important, they shouldn't be your sole focus. Look at other key performance indicators (KPIs) such as organic traffic, conversion rates, and user engagement to get a more holistic view of your website's performance in search results.

This is probably an issue of busy data centers. If your queries are replied by different data centers, you will get different results.
