Keywords show up twice in code

I am building and editing sites. I just changed about forty sites and I noticed that the meta keywords are at the top and in the middle of the page for some of the pages. If I change the keywords at the top do I need to change them in the middle too? Each site has seven pages, so I'd rather not change them all.

Its better to remove the meta keywords tag. It has no more value to rank the page in SERP.
