Ethical SEO can be defined as search engine marketing using only techniques and strategies that search engines consider to be acceptable.

Ethical SEO (Search Engine Optimization) involves following guidelines and best practices set by search engines to improve a website's visibility and ranking in search results. Here are some key points to consider:

1. Quality Content: Create valuable and relevant content that meets users' needs. Focus on providing useful information and avoid keyword stuffing or other manipulative tactics.

2. User Experience: Ensure your website is easy to navigate, loads quickly, and provides a positive experience for visitors. This includes optimizing for mobile devices and maintaining high accessibility standards.

3. Organic Link Building: Focus on earning backlinks naturally through quality content and building relationships with authoritative websites. Avoid buying or exchanging links, as this violates search engine guidelines.

4. Transparency: Clearly disclose sponsored or paid content to maintain transparency and trust with your audience. Labeling advertisements appropriately helps prevent misleading users.

5. White Hat Techniques: Use legitimate optimization techniques recommended by search engines, such as proper HTML structure, relevant meta tags, descriptive URLs, and optimizing images. Avoid black hat techniques such as cloaking, hidden text, or spammy link schemes.

6. Respect Copyrights: Ensure you have the necessary rights or permissions to use copyrighted content on your website. Plagiarism should be avoided at all costs.

7. Continuous Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices. This helps maintain a strong ethical approach to SEO.

Remember, ethical SEO strategies focus on delivering value to users, respecting search engine guidelines, and building long-term success through sustainable practices.

Ethical SEO is also known as White Hat SEO. It's optimizing your site according to Google's webmaster guidelines.

Most commonly discussed when it comes to backlinks.

As far as I know, the way you perform SEO practice maintaining the Search Engines' guidelines is known as the ethical way. This way is also called White Hat SEO, and in this way it takes 2 or 3 months for a keyword to rank in the Search Engine First Page. A keyword doesn't rank in SERPs overnight in this means but it's the right way. I always prefer and practice SEO in this way and my keywords now have ranked.
