Blogging
Article Submission
Relevant Forum commenting
Local directory listing
Classified Ad submission

Social media and video submission are not offpage activity but it is the activity of social media marketing which helps to get backlinks and traffic. Two more activity which I want to add in this social media marketing is podcast submission and infographic submission which are also effective.

Profile linking is one way where you can link back to your website. It includes adding your site URLs to the private, professional, or company profiles which you produce on various sites. You can register as a user or member on social media web sites, message boards, and other types of membership web sites. Many such sites enable one to include your site URL on your own profile, along with insert links into your signature, opinions, or updates.
