Hi,

I am gonna share with you a quick list for SEO Technical Process-2017. hope you like it & don't forget to revert the feedback.

This are still a very important part of the SEO process. After all, you don't want your efforts to all go to waste simply because you've overlooked a very basic issue with your site.

So, see into these and make sure there's nothing fishy going on with your site from a technical point of view:

1) Check your robots.txt file and make sure you're not blocking any URLs or bots by accident.

2) Check your .htaccess file for similar issues.

3) Go back to GSC and see if the number of 404 pages on your site hasn't increased. Also, check if there isn't any drop in the number of your indexed pages overall.

4) If you're using hard redirects, make sure they're code 301 - seen as permanent by the search engines.

5) Check your canonical URLs. Are they pointing to the right place?

6) Make sure you don't have competing pages trying to rank for the same keyword. Rather join those pages into one, stronger page.

Any of the above problems can occur for a number of reasons. For instance, maybe you installed some new plugins, or a new theme, or tried a new CDN service, or, even worse, your site got hаcked. This is why doing a technical check is always time well spent.

Thank you for sharing the list for SEO Technical Process-2017. It's always important to ensure that there are no technical issues with your website that could negatively impact your SEO efforts.

1) Checking the robots.txt file is indeed crucial to ensure that you are not unintentionally blocking any URLs or bots.

2) The .htaccess file should also be checked for any similar issues that might affect your website's accessibility.

3) Monitoring the number of 404 pages and the overall indexed pages in Google Search Console (GSC) is a good practice to identify any potential issues with your site's content.

4) Using code 301 for hard redirects is recommended as it indicates to search engines that the redirect is permanent.

5) Verifying that your canonical URLs are correctly pointing to the intended pages helps to prevent duplicate content issues.

6) Avoiding competing pages targeting the same keyword and consolidating them into one stronger page can improve your website's overall ranking for that keyword.

It's important to regularly conduct technical checks on your website, especially after making any significant changes such as installing new plugins, themes, or using different services like CDNs. Additionally, being vigilant about potential security breaches like hаcking is essential. Taking the time to address these technical aspects will help ensure a smooth and effective SEO process for your site.

Further points for SEO checklist should also be mentioned that:

Are the keywords relevant to your website/theme?
