It's pretty much natural, if your site is brand new. Achieving ranking is not as easy as you may have believed it. You can just create a site and then expect to see result without real promotion. It takes time to see genuine results, it may take you months before your site can start showing in the search results for your targeted keywords.

Don't worry maybe you have chosen high competition keywords so that's why your site still not come into rank, you should continue work (on page and off page seo) and should wait for result.

You should do proper SEO but firstly you should select and work on a suitable Keyword, for this purpose you can use Google adword keyword tool.
