Search engine optimization is necessary for all websites and blogs to gain traffic and also good SERP, especially on Google SERP.

Whether you are SEO service providers or not, do you do SEO by yourself?

And how long will you spend your time to do it?

I always do SEO by myself. Firstly, I have not enough money to hire somebody and then I want to learn a little search engine optimization to probably make money doing SEO for somebody.
Anyway it's very interesting.

yup I do it all myself, like razhaq says hiring an SEO pro can cost you like $1000 per month, the rest that charge less are cowboys. When I become rich and famous i'll certainly be outsourcing the SEO work.

I do this alone and sometimes outsource it when I am busy. Usually I spent 1 to 2 hours a day, depends on my need. Have your own budget, if you want to outsource it. For example, you don't like blog commenting, then you can ask SEO individual to do it for you. You can get 300 dofollow blog comments for $150, which is done within a month.

You can do SEO by yourself, but there's also a big difference between hiring an SEO firm and just outsourcing some of your work.  If you want the whole kit and kaboodle, an SEO firm can certainly do that for you - but it's going to be expensive.

However, you can do your own keyword research and outsource the writing or link building.  You just have to figure out what your strengths and weaknesses are.  If you don't have time to post on forums or do your own social bookmarking, you can outsource it.  Or, if you hate to write, you can outsource your content.

You don't HAVE to do everything yourself, and, quite frankly, most people don't have the time or the expertise to do it all alone.

I do SEO myself. I follow Google updates before implementing any strategies.I also use my experience before doing on-page and off-page SEO. I have a set of tasks to do for any website at the preliminary stage. Later I decide what to do to get rank or traffic. That de[spends on the keyword and site status after 21 or 30 days.

We are not SEO service providers but carry out some SEO activities on our own. It takes hours to spend efforts and we recommend outsourcing SEO services if you're a newbie for SEO else it will be waste of time and efforts.

The amount of time required for SEO depends on various factors, such as the size and complexity of the website, the competitiveness of the target keywords, the quality of existing content, and the specific goals you want to achieve. Implementing basic SEO techniques like optimizing meta tags and improving site speed can be done relatively quickly, while more comprehensive SEO strategies may require ongoing efforts over a longer period of time.

SEO is indeed crucial for websites and blogs to gain traffic and improve their visibility on search engine result pages (SERPs). Implementing SEO techniques helps search engines like Google understand your website's content and rank it higher in relevant search queries.

Some common SEO practices include keyword research and optimization, creating high-quality and relevant content, optimizing meta tags, improving site speed and user experience, building high-quality backlinks, and ensuring mobile-friendliness.

However, it's important to note that SEO is an ongoing process that requires consistent effort and monitoring. Search engine algorithms are constantly evolving, so it's essential to stay updated with the latest trends and adapt your SEO strategies accordingly. While some basic SEO optimizations can be done relatively quickly, more comprehensive tactics require long-term commitment and continuous refinement.

SEO tips and best practices:

1. Focus on keyword research: Identify relevant keywords that your target audience is likely to search for. Use tools like Google Keyword Planner or SEMrush to find popular and less competitive keywords for your content.

2. Create high-quality content: Content is a critical factor in SEO. Develop informative, unique, and engaging content that addresses the needs of your audience. Incorporate your target keywords naturally into your content.

3. Optimize on-page elements: Pay attention to on-page optimization by optimizing meta tags, including title tags and meta descriptions. Ensure they are descriptive, concise, and include relevant keywords.

4. Improve website speed: Site speed is crucial for both user experience and search engine rankings. Optimize your website's loading time by compressing images, minifying CSS and JavaScript files, and leveraging caching techniques.

5. Build quality backlinks: Backlinks from reputable websites can improve your site's authority and visibility. Seek opportunities to attract natural backlinks through guest posting, creating shareable content, or collaborating with influencers.

6. Optimize for mobile: With the growth of mobile searches, it's crucial to have a mobile-friendly website. Ensure your site is responsive and optimized for mobile devices.

7. Monitor and analyze performance: Regularly monitor your website's performance using tools like Google Analytics. Track metrics such as organic traffic, bounce rate, and conversions to identify areas for improvement.

few more SEO tips and best practices:

1. Use descriptive URLs: Optimize your URLs to be descriptive and include relevant keywords. This helps search engines and users understand what the page is about.

2. Optimize images: Compress and optimize images to reduce file size without compromising quality. Use alt tags to provide descriptive text for visually impaired users and search engines to understand the content of the image.

3. Create a logical site structure: Organize your website in a logical manner with clear navigation. This helps search engines and users easily find and navigate through your content.

4. Leverage social media: Social signals, such as likes, shares, and comments, can indirectly impact your SEO. Promote your content on social media platforms to increase visibility and encourage engagement.

5. Focus on user experience (UX): Search engines increasingly prioritize websites that provide a good user experience. Ensure your website is easy to navigate, loads quickly, and is mobile-friendly.

6. Regularly update and refresh your content: Fresh and updated content is valued by search engines. Regularly review and update your existing content to keep it relevant and valuable to your audience.

7. Monitor and fix broken links: Broken links can negatively impact user experience and SEO. Regularly check for broken links on your website and fix them promptly.

8. Implement structured data markup: Add structured data to your website using schema.org markup. This helps search engines understand and display your content more effectively in search results.

9. Pay attention to local SEO: If you have a local business, optimize your website for local search by including your address, phone number, and other relevant information. Register your business on Google My Business and other local directories.

10. Keep an eye on competitors: Monitor your competitors' SEO strategies and tactics. Analyze their backlink profiles, keywords they rank for, and content they produce to identify opportunities and stay competitive.
