Hi
Does site speed matter for SEO?
I know faster sites are good for users, but what about Google position and other search engines.

Google monitors engagement metrics like time on page, bounce rate, page views etc. They want users to have the best possible experience on sites they display in their search results. Site speed is an SEO ranking factor, because it plays a big part in a user's experience.

Generally when website have high loading time most of the user leave those pages/website. Google also consider this factor to reduce waiting time of user. also user can`t wait too much when they are searching too much.

Thank you for all answers.
Do you know what tools I should use to check site speed? I know Google PageSpeed (and this is why I start thinking about page speed and SEO)- anything else I should consider?
