Two important question about seo

Hi friends

I have two questions about my website and i hope you help me :

1- I have removed my forum folder completely and all files are deleted and now i have around 980 broken links in my google search console, How i can remove that links from google index ? I should wait for next google index to remove it or there is another way ?

2 - I have sub domains on my web site and there are broken links and some problems on sub domain, It will affect on my main domain SEO and ranking ? I know sub domains are different website in google Eye but they are important for main domain seo ? or not

1. Answer of your first question.

- First you need to solve all your broken link
- as Google Webmaster is not working run time so you need to wait for updating webmaster tool to see all broken links are solve or not
- if you not able to solve all broken links of your website then disallow them via robots.txt (You problem will instant solve)

2.  Second question Answer

- Now Onword Google consider your sub-domain as part of your root domain, means all the links from your sub-domains are internal links of your root domain, so it will surely effected to your root domain, you need to solve all your sub domain broken links.
