Do you need to optimize every page on your websites?
If you have many pages, it could be difficult to optimize every page.
I usually optimize 5-30 pages, each for 3-5 keywords (key-phrases).
It would be enough for getting in top 10-20 keywords (key-phrases) O0

Initially you can go for the optimization of your main page but as your web business grows you can optimize your inner pages as well. In my views it is better to optimize all the pages of the web site. :)
There are different type of points are used like Create a site map ,Optimize your images, Use the latest version of PHP. Check your site's caching methods,Great content, Optimized URLs, Internal linking.
Always start with keyword check search volume monthly, then focus on your content for users easy to read and understand for everyone. Use any time natural keyword. Check metas like page title, headers tags, optimizes URLs also, page load time, do internal linking, make your website in responsive.
Target your main pages where you will be able to gather more traffic. Make site analysis & decide the keywords according to it. For rest of the pages make them SEO ready & don't focus more.
Do onsite and offsite optimization of the website an begin to make strategies for SEO.
It is very likely thta your homepage is not always where people land on your website. What if you had no previous introduction to what your website was about and you landed on one of your deep pages. Would you understand exactly where you were and how to get what you were looking for? You have got just a few seconds to hook a website visitor before they click away! And it is not just search engines thta provide back entrances to your site. There could be links out there on other websites thta link to your deep pages.
