When you are trying to get more links you need to think about quality, not all links are created equal and links from low quality sites will have little or no impact on your rankings. The best types of links that you can get are from trusted sources.

To get trusted link you have to build links on trusted websites, relevant and high page rank website which give dofollow back links to your website and give link juice to your website.

I don't know what do you mean by trusted source...

According to me trusted sources are those which provide good information which has nothing to do with high PR. There are many new websites which can provide you good information (but they don't have high PR)

And, to the O.P.
It would be good for other memebers if you could eleaborate it a bit. DOn't start fluffy threads just to increase your count.
