Hi
Contextual link building is one of the latest ways to promote your site. It is performed by placing links in the content so that the reader is tempted to click on it.
This can be done by submitting articles on article submission sites.... ;)

Hi All, My first post here and I hope I can make a contribution of some sorts.  A contextual link is the very basics of SEO 101.  Its a link where the anchor text is within a sentence and in context. Such as: "A friend of mine asked what a contextual link is."  where "friend of mine" is a contextual link to my friends website.  Basic stuff really ;o) x

Contextual link building is also one type of link building, which intended to be more 'natural' in the eye of Google. For example the link we get to read in Blog post may be contextual link as well. As a result even if he is buying link from blog owner , Google could not detect it.

Contextual links refers to links that are within content, rather than on a link page or in a resource box. Generally these should be made using anchor text for even more clout with the search engines.
This type of link is harder to get but well worth the effort. As long as the content is good and the site is related to the topic of your site, these links are probably the best ones you can get.
