Hi,

The domain authority has been started by the moz, and it will help you to understand the worth of the website in terms of the backlinks, advertisement and etc.

Note: You will not suddenly get the high domain authority, write a quality, work on seo and wait for the response from the moz.

Thanks

Domain Authority (DA) is a website metric developed by Moz. It is one of the most important numbers known to SEOs. The greater your DA, the more likely you are to have strong traffic and high rank.

Domain authority is a measure of the power of a domain name and is one of many search engine ranking factors. Domain authority is based on three factors: Age, Popularity, and Size.

Domain Authority is a metric that can be used to understand how Google's Algorithms rank you based on your authority or credibility on the web. While many online developers have been plucking their hairs wondering  how Google's Algorithms work, Moz's Domain Authority is  a way to gauge how your website would perform competitively when pitted against other wensites in your niche. The Domain Authority is a score based on a scale of 100 and an amalgam of many SEO factors that make some websites rank better than others on the web.

Domain authority is based on a lot of factors. Primarily, however, these are link user profile factors such as how many backward links are pointing to your web site and how authoritative those sites are.
It is very difficult to gain a DA number of 100. Sites like Facebook and Google have it, so do not be disappointed if you never hit 100.
DA is challenging to influence directly. You cannot change your DA score like you can change your meta tags.

Domain authority is a metric which was created by Moz, for the purpose of rating a website on a scale of 1-100. So the higher the domain authority of a website, the higher its ranking in search engines.
