Linkbaiting is the practice of crafting content that is designed to get other content producers to link to it. The purpose of Link baiting is increasing the number of inbound links to your content and thus improving its performance in search engine results. Link bait is content on your website that other sites link to because they want to, not because you ask them to.

Link baiting is another popular way of promoting your site. If you produce a really popular unique post for your site, then other people may want to link to it. Perhaps you have copied/published another website's content on your site, don't forget to place their website link as a reference. Do it for others and, if your content is trustworthy, let others do it for you. This is another way to increase your link popularity.

Link baiting is the technique of writing content in such a way that it gains natural back links. Why get more links? To rank better on Search Engines.

It's a part of Search Engine Optimization. Link baiting is an On-Page SEO technique that later automatically works as an Off-Page SEO technique. Pretty cool, right?

People, other bloggers and influencers would want to link to content that are useful and amazing. So, the only way to gain more natural links is to write amazing content.

Use more data, give away more and better information that what's already out there.

Link baiting is a viral marketing form, and can be extremely powerful, as it draws traffic to a website without keyword searches or specific searches for that web page. Anything can be link bait, as long as it causes links to be built to the web page and draws visitors to the page. Link baiting is also used in search engine optimization, as it is a powerful tool and can help a website that has fewer popular keywords than usual.

What is the purpose of link baiting when nobody sees your content? I mean in the beginning, without any other link building techniques or investment to get traffic, nobody is going to see what you have written and so nobody will either link to it.
