In on-page optimization you optimize your site from inside by working on the factors like metadata, keywords, alt tag,h1 tag, content.
While in case of off-page optimization you do internet marketing, social bookmarking etc.

On page seo include all those methods which are applied on your site by the developer to optimize your site for search engine but off page seo includes all those techniques which are not applied on your site but some other sites. In off page seo you place your website link on other sites.

On-page optimization and off-page optimization are two different strategies used in search engine optimization (SEO) to improve the visibility and ranking of a website on search engine results pages (SERPs).

On-page optimization refers to the practices and techniques that are implemented directly on the website itself. This includes optimizing various elements of a webpage, such as meta tags, headings, content, images, URLs, and internal linking structure. The goal of on-page optimization is to make the website more user-friendly, relevant, and accessible to both users and search engine crawlers.

Off-page optimization, on the other hand, focuses on activities that are conducted outside of the website to improve its online reputation and authority. This primarily involves building high-quality backlinks from other websites, social media promotion, influencer marketing, guest blogging, and online reputation management. Off-page optimization helps to increase the website's credibility and popularity, which can positively impact its search engine rankings.

On-page optimization:
1. Keywords: Selecting the right keywords and incorporating them strategically in page titles, headings, meta descriptions, and throughout the content.
2. Content quality: Creating unique, relevant, and valuable content that engages users and addresses their needs. This includes using proper formatting, optimizing images, and ensuring a good user experience.
3. URL structure: Designing clean and SEO-friendly URLs that include keywords and are easily understandable for both users and search engines.
4. Internal linking: Establishing a logical and well-structured internal linking system to enable easy navigation within the website and help search engines understand the website's hierarchy.
5. Page load speed: Optimizing website performance by reducing page load time through techniques like image compression, caching, and minimizing code.
6. Mobile optimization: Ensuring the website is fully responsive and provides a seamless experience on mobile devices.

Off-page optimization:
1. Link building: Actively acquiring high-quality backlinks from authoritative and relevant websites to increase the website's authority and improve search engine rankings.
2. Social media signals: Engaging with the audience on social media platforms and generating shares, likes, and comments to enhance brand visibility and attract more traffic.
3. Influencer marketing: Collaborating with influencers and thought leaders in the industry to promote the website, gain exposure, and build credibility.
4. Guest blogging: Writing and publishing guest posts on other websites in the same niche to reach a wider audience and earn backlinks.
5. Online reputation management: Monitoring and responding to online reviews, comments, and feedback to maintain a positive brand image and reputation.
6. Brand mentions: Encouraging others to mention the brand or website in their content, which can indirectly improve search engine rankings.

Both on-page and off-page optimization strategies work together to improve the visibility, relevance, and authority of a website, ultimately leading to higher search engine rankings and increased organic traffic. It's important to have a balanced approach and implement both strategies effectively for optimal results.

On Page Optimization is about website navigation and link structure. Website should be Search engine and user friendly. We need to work on source code for on page. Off page optimization is doing submissions for your web keywords to optimize them on top of search engines.
