What Is The Difference You Found In Past SEO And Current SEO?

As earlier, SEO is very easy. If we do not implement good on page SEO also, and if we build backlinks through off page work, then our site will rank easily in few days.

But now, Google is implementing many new changes like panda, penguin, hummingbird updates in its algorithm.

How do you feel in working as per earlier Google seo algorithm, and with the current Google seo algorithm.

The only major difference between past and present SEO is that Google is concentrating more on quality rather than quantity. Spammers are very much looked upon and they have been penalized for working on unethical means to rank their websites in search engines.

It was times when was enough to add meta keywords in head section and you could rank
it was times when you could only have a lot of links from any websites with any rank
Now nobody can exactly tell you what you should do- to rank No1, everybody just guessing. There are no exact formula like: build website with no less than 10000 words and build lets say 10 links to every page.
Everything becomes more and more complicated to sort crap and good sites. Google company has a lot of engineers which making changes every day, so that is why our rankings jumping every day.

In Past getting ranking in search engine is easy, but today its not.. In past working we not done quality SEO, but we today we're doing quality work, ya, but work is less as compared to past day..

Yes when i had started doing Seo, we had hugh team of off page. they use to do a lot of link building. just following basic on page and off page activities, use to get result in few weeks. but now situation has been change due to constant change and update, it has become very difficult to to rank in top result. Now in seo we are more focus about quality and relevancy of the website. off page activities have been reduce. now we should focus more now website quality and relevancy and content marketing strategy to rank well in top search and get good organic traffic

Ohhh God there is to much differences between Past SEO And Current SEO ! As I understand so there is Biggest changes in Past SEO And Current SEO ! Which is Content, In past We can use Duplicate Content & Google used not to give any punishment but now this time Google punish while using Duplicate Content so this is a Biggest changes in Past SEO And Current SEO !

Well, over optimizing now is a much bigger deal than it was a few years back. A lot of people believed that over optimizing your keywords, articles, and sites will do you good but now it's pretty much a penalty whenever you do that. It's actually better to under optimize these days because it looks more natural.

Before Panda, Penguin, Hummingbird update it was very easy to rank a website using Black Hat technique. Now there is more competition and Google focuses more on quality rather than quantity. So, comparatively today's it is difficult to rank a website.

Earlier SEO was dealing only with backlinking. More the number of backlinks, better will be its ranking. Now in recent years this trend has changed. Today SEO is more about On page factors such as content, meta tags, images optimization, navigation structure etc. Search engines are basically focusing on these factors than the backlinking.

There is vast difference between past SEO and current SEO. SEOs of the past focused on keywords and inbound links. It was treated like a game and it was all about quantity not on quality. It was focused on search engines instead of  searchers. The current scenario of SEO has changed, now it is all about creating unique user experiences.
