Google bots will crawl all the page sizes, but if it's too big, it takes long time and may be leave your site for next one.
My advice is keep your site with small size as possible, that google bots will crawl your sites easily and easy to index all your pages and showing on search results.

I will chose a google usually index first few hundred kb.

Google's spider, also known as Googlebot, can crawl and index web pages of various sizes. While there is no specific limit on the page size, it is generally recommended to keep the page size under 5MB for optimal performance. However, it's worth noting that larger pages may take longer to crawl and may have a higher chance of being partially indexed or not fully crawled.

Googlebot does not have a strict limit on the size of pages it can crawl. It is capable of crawling and indexing pages ranging from small to large sizes. However, excessively large page sizes can lead to slower crawling times, which might impact how quickly your content gets indexed by Google. It's advisable to ensure that your web pages are optimized for performance by keeping them reasonably sized and focusing on proper content structure and organization. This can improve the overall crawlability and indexing of your site.

While Google does not have a specific maximum size for pages it can crawl, it's important to note that larger page sizes can have some drawbacks. If a page is too large and takes a long time to load, it may negatively affect user experience and page rankings. Additionally, excessively large pages can increase the bandwidth usage of Googlebot, which may impact the crawling and indexing of other pages on your site. It's generally recommended to keep page sizes under 5MB for optimal performance, but there is no hard limit set by Google.

As of now, Google can crawl and index web pages that are significantly larger than 500KB. While there is no specific size limit mentioned by Google, it is still recommended to optimize your pages for fast loading times and good user experience. This can include practices such as minimizing unnecessary code, optimizing images, and using efficient caching techniques. By following these best practices, you can ensure that your website is accessible and easily crawled by Googlebot.

Google crawls websites of any size. However, very large sites tend to not be crawled all at once. It's kind of like eating a large meal. You have some now, and save some for later. Google indexes parts of large sites during it's routine spidering process. Then they'll return later on to index the rest.

According to Google's Documentation: All files larger than 30MB will be completely ignored. They will index up to 2.5MB of an HTML file. Non-HTML files will be converted to HTML

According to Google's Documentation, files which are larger than 30MB will not be crawled. They crawlers will index up to 2.5MB of an HTML file. So I would suggest, it is better to keep the file size small to make it more effective.

A Web Crawler (also known as a search engine spider, searchbot, robot) is a program which is used by search engine to find what is new on Internet(website). This process is called Crawling.

Web Crawler makes a begining by crawling the pages of websites. Then it indexed the words and contents found on that website. And then it visits the links available on that website.
