Wikipedia is massive and it's relatively easy to add links to relevant sections but does it ever help SEO. not to mention that competitors often remove your links  :P

And in addition, all mediawiki (wikipedia also) links are nofollow.

if wikepedia links are no follow there's no point except the fact that yyou might be able to get some real targeted traffic, other than that I think it's useless for seo purposes.
