Bounce rate is usually calculated on the whole website. It is the rate at which a visitor enters your website and leaves without spending more time on other webpages. Bounce rate for a website should always be minimum to get more popularity of your website in search engines.

Bounce rate is the percentage of time a user enters your website and then exits so if your bounce rate is too high then you need to work on the UX of your website and make your website engaging and sticky so a user much spend more time on your website once enters

Bounce Rate is calculated by whole website. Any webpage of the website is opened without any activity the page is closed by the user so the bounce rate increases of the website. If the customer or user comes to your website while searching and if he doesn't like likes your website and closes it automatically its the condition when bounce rate increases.

Bounce rate is used to determine how your landing pages perform as compared to visitor's expectation! It is a number of visits in which a person leaves your website from the landing page without browsing further. In order to calculate it, you should use this formula: BR= total number of visitors who only view a single page / total number of visitors who enter to that page * 100.

Bounce rate (sometimes confused with exit rate) is an Internet marketing term used in web traffic analysis. It represents the percentage of visitors who enter the site and then leave ("bounce") rather than continuing on to view other pages within the same site.
Bounce rate is a measure of the effectiveness of a website in encouraging visitors to continue with their visit. It is expressed as a percentage and represents the proportion of visits that end on the first page of the website that the visitor sees

Bounce rate is a statistic that shows what percentage of users land on one page of a website and then navigate away, "bouncing" to a different site. It is one among many statistics that can be used to learn how people use a particular website. Having a high or low bounce rate is not necessarily a bad thing, depending on the structure of a website and its function; it must be looked at in combination with other statistics.
To calculate bounce rate, a count of the number of visitors as a whole is divided by the number of people who only visit one page.
