Keyword stuffing is widely condemned by search engines, and this approach could lead to a search penalty. In simple words, if you fill your page with unnecessary keywords, it won't increase your chances of ranking higher.

Keyword Stuffing is a technique used by Webmasters to stuff or fill web pages with irrelevant keywords & phrases. The main purpose for doing this is just to make web page look more prominent for better search engine rankings.

Effective Ways to avoid Keyword Stuffing:
    * Share Links of your websites with those who are into same business & fall into your target market.
    * Submit your Website’s links on various Directories, available online.
    * Bookmark your website contents on Social Bookmaking sites.
    * Make full use of Social Networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, Orkut, Reddit, Myspace, Digg etc. to name a few.
    * Search for industry related Forums & actively take part in Forums discussions.
    * Replace your frequently used Keywords with their synonyms/alterations.

In other words, if you fill your page with needless keywords, it won't improve your chances of ranking higher. It is considered to be unethical & unprofessional Search Engine Optimization approach. So while it might be tempting to game the system, avoid stuffing pages with keywords.

A keyword stuffing example would be a page that is trying to rank for the term “best laptop bag” and using the following copy: “If you're looking for the best laptop bag, look no further. Our brand offers the best laptop bag that you could want for business or pleasure.
