I fail at going viral

I use Twitter as my main social media, I know you can go viral with a proper article/tweet but seems I can't achieve it. Some serious influencers follow me on Twitter since my blog posts are high quality content (fitness and ketogenic diet in Spanish language), I even organized some roundup debates which brought me the record: 1850 visits one day.

Currently I hit a plateau at around 1000-1500 visits per day, some days I don't even get 1k. My subscriptors count is 250 and I post around twice a week, my articles are usually 1,000 words or bigger.

37% of my visits are organic (google), 63% from backlinks and social media.

You can audit my website here if you are curious:

My trustrank is 2.59 which I think is pretty good compared to similar websites in my niche and audience levels.

I feel somehow disappointed since I can't grow any more, let alone monetize it. I guess going viral with just a single article might pump up everything since it feels people just don't know I even exist. Some top-notch influencers know my work, certainly some get ideas and use my knowledge on their benefit, only to keep being unknown for the big public. :(

Ask your followers to retweet only your best content and do not ask every update that you post to be retweeted.
You need to post at times that are more favourable.
Select the words that would entice the user to click.

It is somehow long, and with that length of your content there's a great chance that your visitors or readers might get bored. Why not try to minimize it but at the same the essential is still there. And hey try to join or create a group in twitter I guess that will help in promoting your website.
