Hi, i need a hosting for my site, the most important issue for me is the uptime, i've read some good reviews about Downtown, so i ve checked the plans they offer.

I´m wondering if i go for a reseller plan would i get a more stable service than if i go for the shared one, both of them share almost same caracteristics(bandwith, space) but reseller is more expensive(bronze plan).

So the questions are, would i get a better product if i go for reseller than shared for a single site in terms of uptime and quality of service?, is it hard to manage a reseller plan (i mean configure sites)? am i missing something here?

thanks for the help

Well, only the actual host would really be able to comment here, but generally Reseller accounts are usually more reliable. The reason for that, is when hosts offer those accounts, they usually put them on a less crowded server, and hosts also know that if you are reselling hosting then uptime is critical. I'm not sure what their policy regarding resellers, but I would think that they would put the reseller on a more underloaded server than the regular shared accounts.
Reliable hosting? try HOSTGATOR and WEBHOSTINGHUB.
