Should I spend money on a unique logo ?

I've been running my blog for like 7 months now and have alwayds spent good money on getting the design made completely bespoke. I'm now being told that if I really want to grow my blog and it's brand I need to invest in good logo ? Is this true and should I really care about spending $200-$300 on a pro logo ?

Yes, you should spend money for unique logo (if cannot do it yourself).
For good logo price maybe higher than $1000.

Cheap unique logos are also available for as low as $25.  There are a few websites marketed by rogue company that sells logos.

Joeemslie is right, head over to DP and you could get a custom logo done for less than you think. If you have more than $100 then you could even start your contest, and you'll get good design entries from a good handful of designers. You atleast get some choice that way too.

From my opinion, yeah you should spend some for unique logo but
think smartly.
Some cheap logos are also unique and they are simple but could be an attract.

Protect your brand with unique and professional logo. It is about promoting your business and also branding. So, I would love to say yes for spending some money to get that logo. It actually depends on how big is your business and you must consider your budget. You can not spend $1000 if your monthly earnings –from this business alone- is not more than $5000. That’s an example.

So, count your budget and your income possibility. If you can get unique and professional logo for less than $200, why pay for more than that. Please make a research.
