There are many static websites on the Internet, you won’t be able to tell immediately if it is static, but the chances are, if the site looks basic and is for a smaller company, and simply delivers information without any bells and whistles, it could be a static website. Static websites can only really be updated by someone with a knowledge of website development. Static websites are the cheapest to develop and host, and many smaller companies still use these to get a web presence.

Dynamic sites on the other hand can be more expensive to develop initially, but the advantages are numerous. At a basic level, a dynamic website can give the website owner the ability to simply update and add new content to the site. For example, news and events could be posted to the site through a simple browser interface. Dynamic features of a site are only limited by imagination. Some examples of dynamic website features could be: content management system, e-commerce system, bulletin / discussion boards, intranet or extranet facilities, ability for clients or users to upload documents, ability for administrators or users to create content or add information to a site (dynamic publishing).

Static websites: - static websites contain fixed number of pages and format of web page is fixed which delivers information to the client. There is 110 change in contents of web page while page is running on client's browser. This kind of web sites created from HTML and CSS coding on simple text editor like notepad. Example an organization site, institute site etc.

Dynamic websites:
- dynamic websites can change the web page contents dynamically while the page is running on client's browser. This kind of websites use server- side programming like PHP, Asp.NET. and JSP etc. to modify page contents on run time. Dynamic websites use client side scripting for prepare dynamic design and server- side code to handle event, manage session and cookies, and storing and retrieving data from database. Example E-commerce sites, online form application, E-governance site, social networking sites etc.

Hi! Recently I have read an article where Micah McDunnigan managed to find a difference between static and dinamic websites. Quote:" In simplest terms, static Web pages are those with content that cannot change without a developer editing its source code, while dynamic Web pages can display different content from the same source code. ".

The static website is a very simple and in this kind of  website the data base are also small. You will not get a back hand panel in this kind of websites. Therefore you are not able do any changes in your website. But in dynamic website the database is always very large. Therefore in this you will get separately a back hand panel in which you are able to do changes in the website and also manage the inventory if this. The customization is also possible in this kind of website. Livepro softech pvt ltd will provide you the website with full customization in a very reasonable price for more details visit www.livepro.in

A static website doesn't change. It's usually just a bunch of html, css, and possibly javascript files that are served by a simple webserver. A dynamic website has a backend written in a language like PHP, Python, Ruby, Node.js, etc.

Static Web Pages
Static Web pages display the exact same information whenever anyone visits it. Static Web pages do not have to be simple plain text. They can feature detailed multimedia design and even videos. However, every visitor to that page will be greeted by the exact same text, multimedia design or video every time he visits the page until you alter that page's source code.

Dynamic Web Pages
Dynamic Web pages are capable of producing different content for different visitors from the same source code file. The website can display different content based on what operating system or browser the visitor is using, whether she is using a PC or a mobile device, or even the source that referred the visitor. A dynamic Web page is not necessarily better than a static Web page. The two simply serve different purposes.

A static web-site is the same with each and every visit. A website visitor of the page does not interact with a static website or modify it. Static pages use HTML and CSS, which the web browser interprets.

A dynamic web page is an interactive alternative to a static page. When looking at a static page the user is just looking at the rendered comment from a formerly made HTML document, but a dynamic page is an ever modifying entity. Dynamic page creation is usually implemented to make editing web pages easier, or to personalize web pages for users.
