It's unfortunate that Yahoo has not started crawling your XML sitemap yet. There could be several reasons for this delay. Firstly, Yahoo may have a slower crawl rate compared to Google. This means it might take them longer to process and index all the pages in your sitemap.

Additionally, Yahoo may prioritize crawling websites that receive more traffic or have higher authority. If your website is relatively new or does not have a strong online presence, it might take longer for Yahoo to get to your sitemap.

To investigate the issue further, you can try reaching out to Yahoo's support team or checking their webmaster tools for any updates or error messages related to your sitemap submission. Alternatively, you can also analyze your website's log files to see if Yahoo's crawler has visited your site.

Lastly, make sure your sitemap follows all the necessary guidelines provided by Yahoo. Double-check for any errors or issues that might prevent them from properly processing your sitemap.

If you're looking for more specific ways to troubleshoot the issue with Yahoo not crawling your XML sitemap, here are a few additional suggestions:

1. Validate your XML sitemap: Use online XML sitemap validators to ensure that your sitemap is free of errors or formatting issues. This will help ensure that Yahoo can properly process it.

2. Check the robots.txt file: Make sure that your robots.txt file is not blocking Yahoo's crawler from accessing your sitemap. Check if there are any specific rules in place that might be preventing Yahoo's bot from crawling your site.

3. Verify indexing in Yahoo: Use Yahoo's Site Explorer or Bing Webmaster Tools to check if any pages from your website are already indexed by Yahoo. If none of your pages are indexed, it may indicate an issue with your sitemap or the crawling process.

4. Monitor crawlability: Keep an eye on your server logs or analytics tools to see if Yahoo's bot shows up as a user agent crawling your site. If there is no record of Yahoo's bot visiting your site, it could mean that there is an issue with Yahoo's crawling system, and you might want to reach out to their support team for further assistance.

5. Seek help from Yahoo's support: If all else fails, consider reaching out to Yahoo's support team directly. They may be able to provide insights into why your sitemap is not being crawled and offer guidance on how to resolve the issue.

more suggestions to explore if your XML sitemap is not being crawled by Yahoo:

1. Increase the visibility of your website: Try to improve the overall visibility and authority of your website by implementing SEO best practices. This includes optimizing your content, building quality backlinks, and promoting your site on social media platforms. A more visible and authoritative website may attract Yahoo's crawler's attention.

2. Submit your sitemap to other search engines: It's possible that submitting your sitemap to other search engines like Bing or DuckDuckGo could indirectly help Yahoo discover and crawl your pages. While these search engines have their own crawlers, they might also exchange data with Yahoo.

3. Check for any penalties or issues: Ensure that your website doesn't have any penalties or technical issues that could impact its crawlability by search engines. For example, check for any manual penalties in Google Search Console or perform a comprehensive site audit to identify any technical glitches that may be hindering Yahoo's crawling process.

4. Improve site speed and server performance: A slow website or server can discourage search engine crawlers from fully exploring your site. Optimize your website's loading speed and ensure that your server can handle the request load efficiently. This can help make your website more attractive to Yahoo's crawler.

5. Use structured data markup: Implement structured data markup, such as Schema.org, to provide additional context and information about your website's content. This markup can help search engines better understand your pages and may assist in the crawling and indexing process.
