I am searching for explanations about how to optimize specifically for yahoo, but every article proclaiming to help with yahoo SEO gives 90% general SEO tips.
the only thing I found helpful is a claim that yahoo favors higher KW density - between 5% and 8%, whereas anything over 2% is considered to be KW stuffing as far as google is concerned (so I am told), or using unique meta KWs for each page.

I could not find any link advice which is unique to yahoo, unlike google and MSN.

What does it boil down to?

Thanks for posting that article Sevam.

I've never fully understood yahoo myself. So much so that I've pretty much ignored it. So I hope what that article talks about actually helps me get somewhere with yahoo..

I noticed that Yahoo was pretty genorous to my 5-8 page website in rankings early on, compared to google which didn't even register my site in these keywords.  I know that google Yahoo loves text keywords used several times as long as it's spread through the content.

Hello guys,

Yahoo is considered one of the big three along with Google and MSN and by concentrating a little more time and effort on Yahoo optimization it is quite possible to gain a good amount of traffic. With ultra competitive keywords it may actually provide an easier way to generate search traffic than gearing all your efforts solely towards Google.

Thanks a lot.
