Here are a few additional digital marketing trends that have gained traction in recent years:

1. Personalization: With access to massive amounts of data, marketers can now personalize their campaigns to target specific individuals or segments. This can increase customer satisfaction and drive higher conversion rates.

2. User-generated content (UGC): Brands are increasingly leveraging UGC to build trust with their audience. Encouraging customers to create and share content related to the brand can help create authentic and engaging experiences.

3. Social commerce: Social media platforms are expanding their e-commerce capabilities, allowing brands to sell products directly to consumers without them leaving the platform. This trend is blurring the line between social media and online shopping.

4. Influencer marketing diversification: While traditional influencer marketing remains prevalent, there's been a shift towards micro-influencers who have smaller, more niche followings. This approach allows for more targeted reach and often leads to higher engagement.

5. Augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR): AR and VR technologies are being used to enhance customer experiences, particularly in retail and e-commerce. They can allow customers to try on products virtually or immerse themselves in virtual environments before making a purchase.

These trends, along with the ones mentioned earlier, are shaping the future of digital marketing and should be on the radar of businesses looking to stay ahead in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

Ok, Got It, But I just want to know what do you thinking about backlinks & content ?

Here are my list of 5 Digital Marketing Trends 2019:

#1 Content marketing - this has featured consistently in the top 3 for several years. I think it's number 1 since content marketing can be applied by all types of business regardless of their sector or size and if the right strategy is followed can make an impact that supports communications across all touchpoint of the customer lifecycle. It fuels all digital channels from search, email and social media marketing. This makes having a defined content marketing strategy essential to competing in many sectors.

#2 Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning - This is an exciting 'new entry' into the top 5 and suggests that marketers now believe they will see a return from deploying the latest AI tools supporting the many marketing applications for AI we review in this infographic. Within AI, I believe the most popular marketing applications will enhance personalization and marketing automation which brings us to...

#3 Marketing automation and email marketing - This is also a perennial feature in our top five and it's no surprise since, like content marketing, it's effective for both B2C and B2B marketing. While some more mature organizations will make improvements through use of AI, other less mature businesses will benefit from improving the relevance and timing of their emails through using rules-based automation and personalisation.

#4 Big Data (including market and customer insight and predictive analytics) - It's good to see big data in the top five since we believe in the power of data-driven marketing. Big data analysis such as predictive analytics typically requires larger budgets, so will be restricted mainly for larger organisations, but the use of market and customer insight using the tools shown in our Martech tools wheel is open to all businesses and I think is why this is a relatively popular choice.

#5 CRO and improving website experiences - This is the first time that CRO has featured in the top 5, which is again a sign of increased adoption of data-driven marketing as processes improve in organizations who can now run 'always-on' improvements using structured AB testing programmes. There is also the option of new lower-cost tools including Google Optimize which is freely available.

Last year (2018) has seen a lot of new updates in the field of Digital Marketing, which encompasses SEO, PPC, SMM, Content Marketing and more. Google has rolled many updates like Mobile-First Indexing, Google Core Algorithm Update, Schema, AMP, HTTPS deadline and so on

There are 5 factors you should concentrate on this year to stand in this competitive the field. Technology is advancing at a fast pace, we should catch up the movement to continue our travel in this Digital Marketing field.

Here are six digital marketing trends that we cannot ignore this year:

Artificial Intelligence (AI):
The Future of Digital Marketing will be relay on Artificial Intelligence

The buying behavior of the customers, understanding the patterns become handy with these artificial brains.  In the past collecting data and analyzing to understand consumer buying behavior is to take a bit of time, with AI it’s all happening in no time. For example, Facebook messenger bots can help you to automate and optimize your customer service.

With the help of data management platforms (DMP), AI can collect information about your users across the internet by using second and third party data storing platforms. By analyzing their buying journeys this can help to personalize their needs and profiles enabling you to target your potential leads.

Artificial Intelligence is not just a digital marketing trend, it is going to be the future of every business module.

Programmatic Advertising:
Programmatic Ads refers to the use of software to buy digital advertising, whereas the traditonal method includes proposals, tenders, quotes, and negotiation. Programmatic buying uses algorithms and machines to buy digital space.

Emarketer predicts that by 2020, 86.2% of all digital display ads will be bought via automated channels. Programmatic bidding means using AI to automate ad buying so you can target the more specific audience.

Chatbots plays major role in customer support in near future

This Artificial customer support holds a great potentiality in the market. Research by shows that the global chat bots market is growing by 24.43% during the period of 2018-2022.

Businesses are developing chatbots as virtual assistants in the digital field, using technologies like Machine learning, natural language understanding, and Artificial Intelligence to engage customers. If you are into a business where customer satisfaction is the key to success, then one must invest in chatbots.

Many customers prefer interacting with chatbots as they are responsive, give answers with no delay, and never lose patience. Uber uses chatbots to communicate with its customers to easily hire cabs.

Video Marketing:
Video Marketing is the trending content source in Digital Marketing

Ever since video marketing came into the picture of marketing, it is showing the sign of uptrend year on year. Live streaming always remains at the top of content marketing, the growing popularity on live streaming on Facebook, Instagram, and other popular social platforms encourages more audience engagement.

Shooting videos with Smartphone and directly communicating with customers by sending personalized messages to increase the chance of building repo and relation.

Video marketing stats

70% of consumers say that they have shared a brand’s video. (>Wyzowl
72% of businesses say the video has improved their conversion rate. (>Wyzowl)
52% of consumers say that watching product videos makes them more confident in online purchase decisions. (Invodo)
65% of executives visit the marketer’s website and 39% call a vendor after viewing a video. (Forbes)

 Voice Search:
An easy way to search, Voice search increasing its potentiality day by day

Hey Siri, what is the temperature in Bangalore?

Hello Google, Where is California?

Alexa,  Call Rita.

See this is the future of search, the smart voice technology is going to grow bigger and bigger. ComScore says that by 2020, 50% of all searches are voice searches.

While writing content, you should aware of that keywords should be presented as natural as possible. Do not use old digital marketing technique of stuffing the same keyword all around the content.

Today’s digital assistants are going to beyond voice input and evolving to understand user intent and behavior through available data. Many brands have included voice search in their digital marketing strategies to deliver value-based content effectively to their customers. Domino’s turns to Amazon Echo to let customers order pizza using their only their voice.

OC&C Strategy Consultants predicted voice commerce sales reach $40 billion by 2022.

Influencer Marketing:
Word-of-mouth is always a top marketing strategy, people mostly buy the product recommended by their near and dear ones.   Influencer marketing is not a digital marketing trend, the strategy never fades out.

People by the product based on other people reviews and opinions on the product, using influencers are a very effective marketing technique to attract a large number of customers. Influencers can be anyone from sports stars to actors, YouTube stars to top brains of the country who help to spread a word about your business or product.

Business Insider said Influencers tend to have higher user engagement than content generated by brands. According to tomoson business are making $ 6.50 for every $1 spent on influencer marketing.

Conclusion: 2019 is to be an exciting year for brands to experiment on new ad formats, digital marketing trends changes over a period of time. You need to produce better content to attract an audience along with AI Technology.
