Fonts does not affect SEO but it will affect the bounce rate....if your are using low size fonts which is not easy to read them your readers might leave your blog without reading your articles..this can increase your blog bounce rate hence use fonts which are easy to read...!!

Fonts do not affect SEO, it's all up to your content. However, if the fonts are not pleasant to the eye, or if the page contains too much effects and pictures you could lose some readers and the traffic on your page could decrease. Same goes for text formatting in general.

No font will not affect your SEO. But it will affect your visitors. If your font is not good your visitors will not stay on your page for long time because people prefer good looking sites or text to read because there are millions of articles that provide same information in better font. So you have to keep your font attractive so that the visitors are tempted to read your post. This will decrease your bounce rate which is very good and will definitely increase your sites rank. !-!

At this point of time, Google focus more on user experience with your website and playing with bold fonts is not a good practice. There were times when bold fonts had a critical role in the rankings, but Heading tags have completely replaced them.

So, it's better to avoid using bold tags for SEO purposes, instead, you can use them to indicate something really important in your content. That actually enhances the user experience.

I hope that help!

The main issue is the technical debt they introduce. A custom font file can block rendering, hurting your LCP score. If you're not subsetting and using font-display: swap;, you're asking for a penalty.

Google's crawler cares about speed and stability. A site that loads quickly with fallback fonts will always have the edge over one waiting on some fancy, slow-loading typeface.

Yes, fonts can indirectly impact SEO. While search engines don't rank websites based on the font style itself, font choices affect user experience, readability, and site performance, which are important SEO factors.

Readability: Fonts that are hard to read can increase bounce rate and reduce user engagement, negatively impacting rankings.

Website Speed: Custom or heavy web fonts can slow down page load times, which affects SEO.

Mobile-Friendliness: Fonts that don't scale well on mobile devices can hurt usability and rankings.

Tip: Use clean, web-safe fonts, optimize font loading (e.g., via font-display: swap), and maintain consistency for the best user experience and SEO performance.
