Hi there, organic is a tricky word as in SEO - we use 'organic traffic' to basically mean any SEO traffic.

Also when we talk about 'organic' it is often a synonym for 'natural', ie non-paid or non directed marketing.

If we are looking at the SEO definition, the answer to your question would be to work on your ecommerce SEO: onsite and offsite.

Onsite SEO is looking at things like product pages and categories.

Offsite SEO is looking at links.

Maybe you can let me know if you can make your question more specific.

Hi, great question.

First of all I think it is important to note a few things:

1) There is no such thing as a duplicate content penalty - so you never need to worry too much (however it is still something to optimise of course!)
2) Google has provided some tools to deal with duplicate content, such as using a canonical tag, or Hreflang if using multiple international sites

For you though, I would advise:

1) Try not to add products to large numbers of different categories and sub-categories. It is better to be concise and accurate with your taxonomies.
2) If possible try to have unique content in high importance areas
3) Don't worry too much if the duplication is minimal - Google expects to see a little duplication on sites and it is not a major issue

I hope this heled!
