One thing I've noticed with webmasters is that they feel that as long as the content on they're site is uniqe it's good for SEO. That's so far from the truth it's not funnny. In fact you see people selling sites saying,, 1 year old, 100% unique content, set to earn... I mean come on, if it was set to earn then why are you still selling for $50 after having it for a year lol.

The truth is content has to be unique as a very minimum but it also have to be a good read, be useful to it's readers and carry the right keywords to be effective. When I SEO after taking into the above extra considerations I still only really get a 50-60% return on articles. i.e. only 50-60% actually embed themselves well into google and give me return traffic. The others although unique simply never get enough recognition or traffic to do me any good.

So next time you just think about paying someone to write unique content, be aware that it's not just unique content you need.

Yes you are right, not all the content on the web is 100% original. They are copied and rewritten or just they change the meaning of the sentence or the word... You can write original articles if you have any experience in that particular topic you are about to write...

I was debating this a few weeks ago... SEO content is part science, part art.  Yes, you have to follow SEO guidelines (keyword research, keyword density, etc - that's the science part)

However, it doesn't matter if you follow every great piece of SEO advice out there - if your content is boring, no one will read it (hence the art part).  Internet searchers have tiny attention spans.  You only have a few seconds to grab their attention before they hit the 'back' button.  In fact, a poorly written title can lose you traffic before they even make it to your article or site.

Bottom line - if you want to get the results you want and be seen as an expert, you have to make your content compelling.  There's just too much competition out there to bring any less than your A-game.

Yes, not just content. The conversion rate is important as well.

Yes, it's not just unique content. You also need to make sure that you promote them well, otherwise, you will not be able to have ROI.

Unique and relevant content is not enough because quality backlinks is important too.

I absolutely agree with you, unique content is not enough to get high search engine rankings, there are many other factors like quality one way backlinks, which is simply a crucial and one of the toughest jobs to be done. But it is important for you to get online credibility
