What is mobile SEO? Is it different from usually used SEO and how it is different? Will it make any difference in rankings of the websites?

Use Google analytics tool to see the traffic from the mobile of the website. Use Google webmaster tool fetch as Google mobile bot option. Page loading time – It must take minimum time
Images, CSS, JavaScript – It should not block
Especially for mobile:
   Do not use Flash
   Do not use pop-ups
   Website Design for the Fat Fingers – too big or too small button size can create accidental clicks
Meta Optimization – includes title, keyword and description
Always use Schema.org structured data
Always try to use responsive web design using CSS3 which is good for any screen size of the mobile device or use a separate mobile URL
