Just checked my analytics for my blog and am starting to see some inbound traffic from some questions I answered on Yahoo answers. Seems like it does bring real targetted traffic to your site if your question gets answered enough or your answer is selected as the best answer.
Sounds like a great way to promote your blog. Anyone else seeming good results with Yahoo Answers ?
Yes! I love using Yahoo! Answers, it's easy and it's a very popular place so it really can help you. I've used this for all sorts of promoting, and I also like how when someone searched a question similar to yours on Google, YA is usually the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd result, or sometimes its more than one of those top three!! :D
Yes I am also using YA for promoting some of my blog but one think I don't like about YA is that we get traffic only if our answer is on top, I mean 1st position below to the answer, because its the best answer voted for and visitors only look for best answers and click the links is it have any...

I have never utilized Yahoo Answers. I am going to have to give it a test now. How long have you used Yahoo Answers? I think it's a pretty good idea considering the relevancy that Yahoo still attracts. Do you use LinkedIn Answers?

I'm using yahoo and quora mostly, them have more authority and power(before I was using google bazara, but now seems it is forbidden to leave links there)

Yes indeed, yahoo is still best option to get good traffic but you should be very clear about it that spamming in Yahoo answering can reduce your value therefore always be ethical and natural to get benefits from Yahoo answers.

However, in some instances, great answer to good questions are grabbed and published in separate websites including the links you reference. Yahoo answers are very powerful to generate huge traffic on a website. It is the genuine way to promote a website and to increase the number of visitors towards a website easily.
I find Yahoo is not only where every one could discuss something like ask about technology, news, seo ... but also it could help us to get traffic and good backlink into website, these really are advantages to help us to do seo.
yeah, it's good advice but be careful 'case they have a strict and strange spam filtering (especially when post have any links in it).
In case of filtering you'll be able to see your comment, no one else will... ;D
