I am running a forum website (the link in the signature) and I had submitted it to DMOZ many times yet still it's not included in the directory listings why? Anyone?
DMOZ takes a while to list your website in their database. When did you submit your website to the directory?
DMOZ is impossible to get listed into now, I submitted mine ages ago - no luck.
Submit your site and leave it, don't expect to get listed.
I have submitted one of my sites in 2008 and it is still not listed in DMOZ. The thumb rule is that you just need to submit your site once and forget about it. It may or may not get included at all. There is no guarantee. Submitting a site multiple times will do no good :(.
Seems most of DMOZ categories are just abandoned. I see a lot of really useful ones haven't been updated for 1-2-3 years.
Imagine the queue of websites for all those years? ;D :-X
