How do you choose where to register domains? What do you pay attention to besides domain registration price?
I am very attracted by promotional prices. Is it worth trying? I've found options where I can register domains 10 times cheaper than everywhere.

Registrars often inflate prices when renewing domains

This is correct, but not quite. By the way, about these promotional prices. Do you know that in a year, when you need to renew your domain the price can be much higher? This is a common practice. Many registrars in this way lure the client, and then make very high prices for renewal. Registrars can also block domains due to complaints. Moreover, domain restoration can also be expensive. I chose https://pananames.com/ registrar, all prices are known in advance and several years in advance. I registered all domains at this registrar. At the moment, there are about 50.

Yes, I've heard about that. But I want all prices to be known in advance. I don't want such surprises.

I advised a good domain registrar option. Prices are known for 10 years in advance. Everything is fair here.

Anyone can buy a domain name. To do so, you visit a domain name registrar, such as A2, GoDaddy, or Namecheap, key in the domain you want to buy, and pay a fee. You can't buy just any domain, of course—only one that isn't already registered by another person or business and that bears a valid domain suffix.
