Can search engine read facebook posts? anybody help me out with this.

Yes it is. Google's bot crawl the every page and the contents on that of a website. So if you are leaving links in post there or in the comments they are also getting indexed and they will count as a backlink to your site.

A search engine can only read and index public Facebook posts. If a post is set to private or is restricted from being viewed by the public, then search engines will not be able to access the content of those posts. This means that only publicly available information on Facebook can be indexed and displayed in search engine results. Keep in mind that the privacy settings of the posts can affect their visibility to search engines.
