Title: Facebook FAQ
Post by: CryBaby on 05-29-2010, 17:55:24
Is it true that Facebook will start charging their users?
This is a FAQ received by me from quite a lot of people that I know but I'm not sure of it and that's why I'm posting it here.
Hoping for answers for me to reply those people that asked me so many Qs.   ;D

Have been reading around about this as I was pretty gutted when I heard as I use it all the blooming time!

So I did a little search and have found an article on The Telegraph which says Facebook "deny" they are going to charge for Facebook, however, in my world, when big companies deny something, it usually means that they will be doing it soon.

I mean Barcelona denied they wanted to buy Fabregas...Today they made a bid soo...what can you say.

I will say i HOPE they wont charge but think to make the most out of it, they will probably start:

my prediction 2013!

Joe

Ouch! to your post joe,
I'm hoping that they wouldn't start charging too.
I was shocked after reading your reply to this topic but thanks for the info.   >:D
I'm starting to lookout for another site that can connect me and my friends altogether in it.
Must have a backup for this or there'll be problems contacting all of them.   :blank:

I do not think that this is true because if it is then its not a wise decision to make because it will only lead to its downfall until and unless Facebook has some other plans.

I've heard about this early in this year. It will be valid in June or July isn't it? It won't affect me anyway. I have deleted my facebook account on May. Well, actually deactivated. I am not sure if I can really delete it for good.

Yeah Susan,I thought of that too but if there's nothing going on about it then we wouldn't be hearing those news.

Lucky you pinstern, I've not yet make any backups if FB's start charging.
LOL. I don't know which other social networking to choose / use for me to connect with my friends & some of my family members that are far from me.

I don't feel that this is valid since, in such a case that it is then it's anything but a savvy choice to make since it will just prompt its defeat until and except if Facebook has a few different plans.
