Its like measuring 1000 gallons on one side to 10 grams on another facebook has always been the best more interactive , facebook has a more friendly environment making it a place to endure the best of friends ,family and relatives .Facebook is more easy to understand less complicated and fun filled place where you can chat and enjoy whole day,for business professional facebook is great place to advertise your business for free on social front.

Getting Traffic to websites
Sharing Photos
Getting Likes to Page.
But maybe in future some alternative will come.
If Google Plus will improve some more features then people go for that.

As per my views, in place of Facebook Google Plus is one of the best social networking sites as per the seo perspective because post in Google plus is immediate crawled and indexed by Google search engine as well as it will give do follow link which will help to increase post's ranking in the search engine.
After the Google plus, Pinterest comes on second number because people always like image based information most compared to text based information as well as images always remains at the top to attract attention of people in very easy way.
